I just made a separate post about how the way this game shows meeples makes it deceptive sometimes about what's on a field vs. what's on a road:
https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewto ... 771#p80285
Just now in a game, I chose where to place a tile based on seeing someone else's meeple on a road when it was actually on the very same field I planned to place my meeple on. I did not find this out until I confirmed the tile location and saw that it won't let me put my meeple on that field, thought it was a bug, but then figured out what happened. That other meeple still really looks to me like it's on the road, but I'm sure that it's really on the field because that explains why I can't place mine.
Of course, the only reason I chose to put the tile there is to place a meeple on that field. If I knew someone was already on it, I would have placed on a different field. But even though I haven't finished my move yet (it's waiting for me to place a meeple), I cannot move the tile anymore.
Is there a way to either move my tile, or get all players to agree to scrap the game?
I don't mind doing poorly in a game if that's how we played, but losing a game because the user interface cheated me into making a move I would not have wanted to make, is very different. I do not want to play this game if I have to place my tile where it's forcing me to keep it now.
