As a French, which is the native language of the devs, I can confirm that "Jamais 2 sans 3" ("Never 2 without 3") means "three consecutive successes" or "three consecutive failures". And for this achievement, that's definitely the former.

For two failure followed by a success, we use "La troisième sera la bonne" ("The third one will be the good one").
