Best games to play in turn-based?

For me it’s games that let you do a few different things in a single turn that work best.

Railroad Ink. is still in Alpha but that’s good as you always have 4-5 squares to fill in in a turn and if you play a two-player game then you almost always get two turns in a row.

Then Haiclue if you play Turbo mode works well. You’ll either be setting a clue which gives you a bit to think about or you’ll be guessing everyone else’s clues one after the other so feels pretty satisfying.

Any more suggestions?

I was thinking about this too one day. Any 3+ player game with lots of reactions seem really bad for turn based mode for me. Some people must not mind them since there are lots of games going on with these sorts of mechanics.

La Granja (Overall worked decent except for the revenue phase is kind of slow)

My favorite thing for 3+ player games is either simultaneous turns or games where you have "long" turns with no reactions.

For 2 player games for the most part should work fine, some of the ones I tried and seem good...

Super Fantasy Brawl
Tash-Kalar (I find this game better in turn based)
Potion Explosion

In general I really prefer 2 player games for turn based. Most should be fine, since there is less time waiting around.
