east map

Post by gusgibson »

im playing ussr 41-45
and im not sure exactly what the supply sources are as i dont know exactly what the "east map" is

Maps Used: East

In addition to standard supply sources, a Transport Line hex on
the west edge of the map serves as an Unlimited Supply Source
for an Axis unit

so what is the border of the east map - is it just the ussr (and its territories - latvia estonia lithuania? eastern poland?)
does is it include poland? hungary? romania? prussia? polish corridor?

im gonna guess not blugaria, yugo and rest of germany ?
the russians are closing in and i need to know where my supply is coming from! all i know for sure is konigsberg
i dont think polish cities are uss for germans as poland is not germany
thanks for clarifying - so as far as i know the only supply source for germany aside from this west edge transport line is konigsberg
it seems thats the only place i can mobilize (i could be wrong) though the playbook says i should be able to moilize on these transport lines as well - though i should fiddle around with this on next mob - as ive only noticed konigsberg working for mob but havent fully tested it out

thanks for help - mark

If you zoom on map, you will see a a small default between:
- Hexes XX31 & XX32 if XX is odd
- In the middfle of XX32 if XX is even.
That default is the joining of the two maps

huh - i zoom in all the way and i dont see this small default at all
also are you sure you have the numbers right there as they dont make a straight line
if you switch odd & even they make a straight line
but good to know where this is
so its possible to mobilizie on transport lines on this line (according to rules) - i havent noticed but i havent looked for it

looking at this image
https://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/235 ... r-2-europe
it looks like you are right about evens down the middle
but odds seem to be between 32 & 33 (not 31 & 32) - correct?
