goodbye

Post by Leoishere »

You keep making my favourite games Premium. I guess poor people aren't allowed here anymore so this is goodbye from me.

You can still play them, you just can't create a table anymore and need to join existing tables instead. Which is a pretty generous system IMO.

But yes, some publishers use platforms like BGA as a way to advertise their games up until they get popular, and then remove them from those platforms if they don't have a premium system, or demand the game to become premium if such a system exists.
[For example, "Can't Stop" was removed from Yucata as it doesn't have a premium system, and was kept on BGA at the condition that it becomes a premium game]
Publishers want money from the games they published, and some don't care about potential players if those players don't earn them any money. That's a fair complaint, but probably beyond the score of BGA.

Though if you don't enjoy your time on BGA anymore, you're totally justified to go try other platforms or hobbies. You don't own any loyalty of any kind to BGA.
