Do you have good simple games to have some fun with friends ?

Hello,
I'm preparing an evening with friends that we will spend playing board games on this website. I'd like to know if you had ideas of games that we could discover together, with pretty simple (but not necessarily childish) rules. We are a group of approximately six people, just enough to play The Werewolves of Millers Hollow. But as anyone could withdraw in the last minute, i'd like to have more than one board game in reserve ! I can pay for a subscription for the month if you advise me premium games.

Hello, here are some reasonably simple games I've played with my family:

+ 6 nimmt [any number of player]
+ Not Alone [1 vs many]
+ Coup (Premium) [great for 5 players]
+ Kingdomino (Premium) [maximum 4 players]
+ Suchi go (Premium) [maximum 4 players]

* Elfenland always worked for me with any group. Works well with 2-6 players at any player count.
* Welcome to..., a game with much more "meat" to it than you first expect. Works with 1-12 players.
Both games do very well with any player count they offer, a rare finding.

The following two are very nice little fillers:
* Incan Gold
* Tea Time

Incan Gold is pretty fun with 6.
Martian Dice is doable and a quick learn.
Several card games like President can be a blast with the right crowd.
I haven't played Saboteur or For Sale, but I've heard good things.
Unfortunately, there's also some good ones in Alpha now, so there will be more to come!

I don't think Werewolves can be played with less than 8 players; it wouldn't work well at only 6 anyway. If you're looking for something similar, I would suggest Secret Moon or Saboteur instead.

Yeah I have a group of five for twice weekly gaming on Zoom, we considered bringing in a sixth player but there’s quite a sharp drop off in available games when you get above five players.

All the ones we play regularly have been mentioned I think but I’ll state them again as you might want to focus on games mentioned by multiple people:

Love Letter was suggested here, but I recommend for new players to play with 3 or 4 people.
That is the basic 16 card version.

With 5-8 players you play the expanded Premium Edition (PRemium part of LL, hasn't got anything to do with BGA...besides, the whole game of Love Letter is premium on BGA).
Premium version for 5-8 players has more cards, and takes more experience to play.
