One of the worst issues I have with BGA is its pressure to try to get you to open up a game to play with anyone. I am on this platform to play with my friends because I want to spend time with them and know they will play in a timely manner and be friendly.
BGA doesn't seem to like this, forcing me to cancel prompts to open games to other players all the time even though I always cancel that prompt. A good platform would realize that and give me a setting or just shut that garbage off.
But now, it seems to be ignoring my refusals and letting anyone into my games when one of my friend players opted out. THiS IS A DANGEROUS CHANGE. From a privacy perspective, this is supremely problematic and could make people feel unsafe. That's not an issue for me but I feel badly for those who want to use BGA as a safe environment where they can spend time with friends.
For people randomly shoved into my games (yes, I'm a premium member - although I wonder what for when I see this crap), I keep having to expel them and I'm sure they aren't happy with joining a game and getting unceremoniously dumped.
BGA - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE hire someone to handle CX and UX. If you have someone with that title now, they aren't worth the matchsticks you must be paying them. The workflows on your site make little to no sense and the design choices are archaic. I love playing online board games but your weakness here leaves you massively vulnerable to another company coming in to eat your lunch.
