as this event is nowover,does that mean any unfound eggs have dissappeared? if so, any chance a list could be put up saying where they were? I missed one and it drove me crazy looking for it...

Yes, all eggs have disappeared.
Someone made a list just a few posts above in this thread.

I want to find that last egg, but at the same time the time it's taking to do so, just isn't worth it.
