Premium mode without playing?

Post by hymie »

Greetings.

I work with a non-profit organization, and they are having a virtual convention over 4 days, and they would like to include on-line boardgaming.

I have a Premium account, and I understand that I can play Premium games with both Premium and non-Premium players.

My question is, does BGA offer some kind of membership level where I can start, oversee, and manage one or more Premium game(s) without playing in the game(s) myself?

I'm open to purchasing some kind of "Community" license if one is available. I'm just wondering if something like that is even available.

Thanks.

You can open private tournaments and invite the people you want

That looks cool, but I haven't been here long enough. I apparently need 100 ELO to host a tournament. I can't even figure out where to see what my ELO is. :(

Elo is a rating for each game you play, depending on how good you 'performed' up to now: wins, losses, vs high or lower ranked players, ... You can check it out on your profile page, if you scroll down to the games list. When you are in a certain game, you can also see it below your name.
