Can we cancel an end of game or undo results?

Post by Pic Pique »

I have a problem with a player who ended the game because I was short of time (on a turn based game for a tournament) . I didn't play yesterday, but I played this morning, and when I came back this afternoon to have a look on my games, because the guy was losing he ejected me of the game. I'm really furious, because he is such a bad player and we can do nothing on BGA except saying "I don't want to play with him again". I lose points, I lose karma, and the guy win points and karma ! I play for fun but I really doesn't like the fact that we can do nothing against this kind of behaviour !
So if anyone knows if we can undo the results of a game, thanks for the info.

Pretty sure we can't undo the results of a game.
Turn-based game has to be time-regulated otherwise games cal last during weeks.
Yes, the behavior if that player is totally unfair and the only thing you can do is to "choose to not play with him again"

If you run out of time, you run out of time unfortunately.

Whilst it is not something I would do personally, the time restraints are there for a reason especially in tournaments. This is a reason why I pick and choose my tournaments carefully to avoid time issues.

+1
Many turn-based tournaments are set with a too strict time setting. Keep in mind that players can live in different time zones.

If you park at a 2 hour meter and come back 10 hours later and find you've been given a ticket, you can be furious all you like but nobody is likely to do anything about it. Your choices are to not park there in future or expect tickets.

(And the word you are looking for is "lose", not "loose")

Don’t blame others because you made the mistake to play not on time. Personally I don’t like it when I didn’t do it to someone and when I run out of time in the same game and the one that was already out of time kicked me then. Then I’m furious but not when I’m the only one.
