Downforce needs players badly. Any chance either or both of these could happen?

- Have a banner for it on the home page to promote it
- Make it a non premium game

very unlikely, as there are tons of games and I don't think the admins will promote an old game. Also, there a quite a lot of good old games that would need such promotion.

Regarding the premium status, this is the editor choice, so unlikely this will change.

I would suggest that you switch to turn-based play, that way, no problem to find opponents (but of course that is another way to play).

There are lots of games you can make similar arguments for, the best solution is to try and get more members for the site...

That's slightly facetious, but in truth it's an interesting issue that as the site adds more games, players will not be able to keep up with tracking all the possible games they might play so restrict themselves to a few, probably smaller player count, or shorter time span games. I think there is a problem (it's not often for example that you see open tables for Automobiles either), but I think the better way to address it is via the lobby system.

Getting more people online who you know are interested in a game is probably your best bet in the interim though
