Getting added to turn-based tables against my will?

I couldn't find an answer on the FAQs, so I'm asking here. Sorry if it was asked already!

I'm not usually interested in turn-based games, but I tried once, just to check what it was like. After that, I was added to some turn-based tables against my will, i.e. not asking permission for my participation. I don't know why that happened. Maybe I have some settings wrong?

Were you actively invited, or did they just propose a rematch?

You are never added without permission, you can accept or decline the invitation. They cannot start the game without your approval.
