Better Privacy on BGA

In my opinion there are currently not enough privacy options on BGA and a massive amount of people here seem to agree. See here:

I think it is very important to add more privacy options, and the sooner the better. So far there seems to be no comment from the BGA admins as to whether they are going to add more privacy options and when this might happen.

Privacy options to add would include being able to hide your game history, achievements and online status from people who aren't your friends or hide them from everyone, have mutual friendships only, and other privacy related options.

I've added a poll and have set it to run for 30 days.

We understand that it's totally fine for our oldest members, as they are used to it, but it's still not normal to have to click on a game, to add it to your favorite list to be able to play.
It's also not normal to have to click more than 5 times to start a game. We know this, it's been a way to fix the lobby. But should be changed.
Profile pages are outdated, friend system is vintage, privacy control should be better, etc... We know that.
You'll be glad to know that this year we will start a new version of BGA that should improve everything, but we will go step-by-step (ohhh babyyy).
Depending on your feedbacks and our analysis, you should be able to discover a new and simpler interface to play games, add friends and manage your accounts.
This is the big goal for 2021, but it could also be delayed. That's a very big project. We have already been preparing stuff on our side since months, we will update you during the year about it but don't expect anything until a few months.
The new version will probably go into beta first, with a specific access, so you will still be able to use BGA as it is for the next year.

Not sure if anything has happened yet but there is still time in 2021.

Thanks. It would be nice if the BGA admins could provide an update on this, especially as this was about half a year ago and before Asmodee joined with BGA. It would be helpful if the BGA admins could specifically acknowledge the suggestion and comment on it here: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=17208. Currently this suggestion has gotten over 600 votes, the highest on BGA right now.

Based on the survey results it appears the majority of people on BGA want better privacy options. I know this may not be a small task, and may not be able to happen all at once, but please bump this up the priority list BGA admins. Even small privacy changes would be a good start and much appreciated. Thank you.
