2 spades for 6 power

Hi there,
I’m confused about how this works.
When I’m reading some guide for TM, they say that the 6power for 2 spades thingy can be used on 2 different tiles.
But when I’m using it on board game arena I don’t seem to be able to do that. I can only use the 2 spades on 1 tile (which kind of bother me).

Is there a way to do that that I don’t see ?
Or did I misunderstood the guide I was reading maybe ?

It does work like you think. When you use one spade on the first tile, there will then be an opportunity to use the other spade on another tile.

If you can use both spades on the first tile, you must. Only if you reach your home color and have a spade left, can you use the second one on another tile.

Wow, TM will not stop to amaze me with how subtle the rules sometimes are. You would think that after ~100 games and constantly loitering around the community for more than half a year one would know all the rules, but apparently not!
