I don't want to play with two players with same IP.

Post by EmperorsClub »

Table #179722395

This site didn't give me the option of cancelling the start of the game once two players using the same IP joined. I would've preferred that there was a prompt that told me that two players had the same IP before starting the game automatically.

how do i get out of this game without receiving a leave penalty? Why isn't there a prompt?

There is in fact a warning sign when two players are sharing the same IP address.
These warning signs appear before everyone agrees to start a game and is similar with the warning sign you see with players of bad reputations.
You will need to move your arrow to the warning sign to show the reason for the warning though.
I always do that when I see multiple warnings, and if they're sharing the same IP, just decline to start the game and leave.

Not for turn-based games, this confirmation windows only exists in real time. In turn-based games, the game start as soon as there is enough players at the table. The best you can do is never join a table where there is already peoples sharing an IP, but you cannot do anything if they join the table after you.

I created a turn based game and what you described does not happen. There is no way to stop the game from starting in a turn based game apparently.

I rarely play turn-based games and did not know that these prompts do not exist them.
Creating a suggestion for these warnings in turn-based games could be a good idea.

Or you can block those players with a "just for me" red thumb : you won't meet them anymore and it won't affect their karma.
