understanding type of tournaments

hi to all
i have a question : i like turn based tournaments, but i don't want to do tournaments where you play all the games simultaneously .
how can i understand if a tournament is of that type?

If you set a Round Robin tournament, and you don't specify round dates manually, all games will be as soon as possible (simultaneously).

Round Robin is the only kind of tournament where it can happen. With single elimination and Swiss system, the previous round should be partially or fully completed for calculate next round matches.

Unfourtunately, if you are not the creator of the tournament you will not be able to know if game dates are set manually, so if you avoid Round Robin tournaments, you will skip for sure simultaneus games.

Most round robin tournaments are simultaneous, but you can check if there are multiple dates in the tournament agenda. This will show you whether all games are simultaneous or not.
