Unless they have a variant where Matt Leacock plays as the virus and is trying to get you
They have tournaments where teams are all given the identical starting roles, cards and decks, so potentially it could be you and a group against a group of designers. If that's not what they mean, I'd still love to see them adopt that structure for tournament play on here (though I'd be interested to know how they ensure the games can be completed as I'm sure some set ups are impossible having once lost in a 4 player game before anyone had taken a second turn)

Pandemic is really a great game! Many thanks to everyone who helped implementing it!

Excellent version of this game! I really love how the interface is intuitive and almost predictive when it needs to be, without giving away what the player should do. I think this might be the best BGA implementation I've seen so far...

I'm totally excited to see this game in action and play it! When the pandemic first came out I I thought they should create this game for online purposes. It just translates real life so well. Not to minimize any of the death that has come with it, but just the bureaucratic mess that has come with trying to address the pandemic, is built in the game. Remember all that in-person coordination and how difficult it was when you played in person with your friends? Now, it's real life, where all coordination is not face to face with a buddy, but quite possibly with another person around the world who's primary language is not your first language. Excited to see this roll out in turn based and see if we players can defeat this thing any faster than real life!

The anchor titles are a great way to help new folks discover the site and allow us to enjoy these great games even if we don't have a handful of willing gaming friends around the table. I have discovered and enjoyed so many new games through this site, and gone on to purchase physical copies of some to add to my collection. I hope publishers continue to consider allowing their games to be included on the site, and I hope that those that do are seeing a benefit (including increased recognition in an often crowded market and boost to sales).
You have a handful of willing friends all around the world now! Where you located Magpie? Ireland?
