How to find nearby players?

You can maybe try to search for groups that starts with your towns name, but there isn't a geographical search that I'm aware of.

I hope I remember correctly, but I can swear there was some sort of map-search mechanism, somewhere on the site.

It basically showed dots around your area (I think the dots meant the profiles created in the area you are in, even if the users are active, inactive or even deleted); and when you clicked on the dots, usernames appeared.

I forgot how I could see that map-thingy (perhaps the COMMUNITY page, and FIND A PLAYER or something - now I see no map-thingy), and i also think it was in 2018-2019, so probably before the system was updated to the current aspect.
