Can we play training games from the Same IP address?

My parents live overseas and I was looking forward to a family board games night. How ever the ant Boosting feature blocks them (because they are from the same IP

At least during Covid, could it be possible to play training games with people on the same IP address. I don't see what could possible lost in doing this.

What could be lost is the license to host the games.

The restriction of not allowing players from the same IP on many gaming sites is to reduce cheating. That is not the case here. Publishers have expressed concerns that if players from the same location can play for free together on BGA, those players would be less likely to buy a physical copy of the game. The publishers therefore would not be getting income. The way this was addressed was to have some of the premium membership fees distributed to the publishers.

The fact that it is a training game even reinforces this: it is a group of people who care more about having fun than boosting worldwide ranking. The type of people who would sit around a physical copy to play.

For some of the games that are family weight, I do wonder if this limited set could be played as long as the players are coming from at least two IP addresses, even if no member is Premium. Vulture Culture, Hugo or Lucky Numbers for instance all strike me as games that would be great for people to play against young relatives remotely, and if more of the traditional card games are added they'd not be bound by the licence restriction. Though I'd still say that ELO shouldn't be counted in games with the people from the same IP address (unless someone is a premium member)
