When I see the bright red meeple emoji created in chat from ":(" I think it looks angry. Anyone else agree?

Yes, and this has caused a few problems, e.g. I lose because I do something foolish at the end of the game, and I select the sad emoji. The other player 'Why are you mad at me? It was your own mistake.'

Changing it to blue instead of red would remove any confusion.

This would be the best solution imo. I'm really not sure why they went with red in the first place.
