Everybody here, including your countrymen, is against you in this situation. Users agree with the punishment the moderation gave you. There's no responsibility they have to take here.

I can't say if the severity if a 3 day chat ban is right, I am not the right person to determine how harsh someone should be punished and withhold myself from commenting on that. All I can say is that my own personal opinion it is correct that an intervention occured.

It is like how a jury in a courtcase decides guilt/not guilty, but the judge sets the penalty.

That MisterTab still continues to play off the mongoloid comment as a joke sadly shows that he is not remorseful about the choosing of his words.

I have no idea or whatever about Moderations, or who manage them, I am just presenting an incident; I hope it won't make anyone feel blue... :(

So this game... Coup, 5 players:
https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=135334210

The table was hosted by a Dutch player - Premium, obviously (Coup is a Premium game), and the table was filled with 4 other Dutch/Israel players - none of them Premium; so I assume it was a table set for a group of friends, the Premium host waiting for the other 4 to join, one by one.

Still... Until all 5 gathered, other random people kept joining, each of them being expelled by the host. I was one of them. After being expelled, I said:

"Why? If you wanna play as a group of friends, you can write in the table description that, so people won't waste time joining, just to be expelled."

Then... all of them started insulting with reaaaaally serious nasty stuff, like: "re**rd", "id**t", "di*ty j*w", "ni**er" - exactly these words, not hidded, no "*" (i mean... 0 logic with some of the insults), and then each of them wrote a letter of the word "n*g*er", like Player 1: "N", Player 2: "I", (...), Player 5: "E", Player 1: "R".

Except 1 of the 5 players - who only wrote 1 letter of the "ni**er" word, without any other insult, all of the other 4 ones wrote, besides the letters in that "n****r" word, a really offensive, bad and rasist full-worded insult - like in the examples above (the host was one of these 4).

I obviously reported all. The report results:

• everyone except the Host, who was Premium, received a 3 days site limitaton, and karma reduced to 50% (including the player who only wrote 1 letter, contributing to the word "ni*g*r");
• the Premium host... received no penalty, just a friendly warning.

I reported the host again after seeing these first results, explaining my thoughts on this issue, and the new report resulted in the same moderation as for the other 4...

So the final result was: 3 Days Site Limitation and Karma reduced to 50%, for all 5 players, including the Premium host - who unlike the 4 other non-Premium players, needed a 2nd. Report, after the 1st. one got no Penalty, just a friendly warning...

I have no idea about this, I don't know which Moderators/Admins took care of this, if the same moderator handled all player reports, etc., I don't want to throw any personal judgement or possibly offensive opinion (Publicly), I only posted this comment because it suited the nature of this Forum Post ! 😶

Everyone is free to consider what he/she wants, but the situation was explained 100% as it happened.

Peace and Love !

So your point is that those 5 people got different penalty and therefore in your opinion moderators are using different standards?

As i understand it, they don't give different penalties but it is considered whether they're first-time-offenders or not. So maybe the host was never reported before but the others were sounds like the most likely scenario here.

If that's the case then your conclusion doesn't hold.

Anyway - reporting them was the correct move to do.

4 of the players (Host included) had the accounts created in December 2019; 1 of them, in the summer of 2020.

They all had under 250 games played (Host had the most), i assume they all played among themselves, so... I assume they were all friends who played mostly (if not only) among themselves.

They needed 1 premium person for Coup and I really don't think some of them had more reports/moderations than the others (i think it's possible they had none, and they only played with people inside their Dutch group, not caring too much about the site and rules).

My personal opinion is that... it seems hard to believe (and too big of a coincidence), that all 4 non-Premiums would happen to not be 1st. time offenders, only the Premium one... with most games played... would be on his/her first report/moderation :)

Also... the Host gave some of the biggest insults in that short time i spent on the table...

I think that whoever read what I said and explained... should get the right idea of what that moderation situation represented... :)

Also, I think that your reply from above and the way you tried to make it look, and the scenario you found most likely, and what you said you understand... are in perfect harmony with your old-account situation on this site (2013) and what this coincidental connection might probably mean. :D

Peace and love :)

I think all I said is self-explanatory enough.

A similar thing same happened to me.
Yesterday I joined a Bang! table, when we go live(they did accept starting the game with me included), I notice everyone is Hungarian, except for me.

They noticed, and pushed abandon, as they wanted a friendsgame too. asked why they made their table public then?
One of them said:
nyirjuk ki a belgat, sapadtarcu!! :)
Which translates according to Google translate:
nyirjuk ki a belgákat, sápadt arcú!! (spelling corrected!)
we cut out the Belgians with pale faces !!
So a nationality, a skin color(?), no provocation on my end at all. This was even before I even said anything at all in chat.

He got a 1 day chat ban and reduced karma.

Similar, but also quite different in many aspects.

With what I wrote above, about the incident, I wanted to highlight some possibly questionable managements of moderations (from my point of view).

And what is worst? Someone calling rubbish or to say you cut someone faces. (What means you want give pain to someone else). And this is what i mean with my point.

They have so much different standards it's not fair. (Btw the same guy where i told about says today supid (mean stupid) and dumb).
