Verona Twist is labelled as 0 luck even if it has hidden information

Post by Etoclas »

Hi everyone :)

Today I tried the game Verona Twist and I saw it has hidden information for one player (playing Capulet family).

The game is labelled as having "0 luck factor", but I think it has luck, since the Capulet doesn't know the couple.

The opposite of luck, for me, is having "complete information". And this is not the case.

So I think it should be put to at least 2.

What do you think?
Does it have luck factor?

Cheers,
Marco :)

Are you going to create a new thread for every game?

I don't believe there is luck involved, as nothing is random. Yes, there is hidden information, however there is no guessing. You need to eliminate every possibility so the only one remaining is the truth.

Hi Shobu!
I see you are a good observer, maybe you can join me in this holy research for the correct labelling of each BGA game!

I usually rest on week-ends, is it ok for you?

PS: the answer is "When I see a game that doesn't reflect the label, yes :)"

Have a nice day,
Marco

All right, I understand. Thank you for your answer, I was curious to understand the difference.

I already did a detailled post for you on that subject, linked more up .

I really don't think you can find an universal definition for luck. Apparently bga has decided to take the 'random generation' but I really don't think it's a consensus.
