Strange turn-based clock times in the last couple of days

I have two turn-based tables on which the remaining time is strangely unbalanced even though I haven't waited long to make turns on either table. I am waiting on the other player, yet my clock is much less now. Did something change or break recently?

Some people use a holiday joker to extend their time (up to 4 times a year).
