What's involved with adding new features to existing games?

Post by HexAddict »

Hi, I'm not sure what to search for and that dev blurb (I have not created a new account yet) doesn't answer my questions.

If there is an existing game in BGA, and I want to improve it, how do I go about this?

Particularly, I see some games without Undo features, and I'd like to fix that. :D

Nothing special, you create dev account, find the repo, clone it and start working. Once you are done, an admin can merge that into original project and deploy the patch.

Don't forget to contact the game developer first and ask him if he's still involved before any modification...

Yes please first say what game is that. There are multiple games which has developer who is still active and some of them had
good reasons not to have undo support. This is very difficult feature to add and get it right.
