The first one was Talia from Dark Knight Rises, the second one is the country of Liberia. Libertalia.

The country pictured is Liberia. The character's name in the GIF is Talia al Ghul.

Cool, I haven't played Libertalia yet but I've recently developed a strong liking to hand management games (which BGA qualifies this as, I haven't read the rules so don't know how much of it there is) and thus very much looking forward to this release! :-)

Just thanks god it's not a abstract game. There are too many abstract games in BGA.

1) Speak for yourself, there are others here who love those games.

2) Most games only have their themes loosely plastered on anyway, making them abstracts in disguise. This goes for pretty much all of the games on the site really, even the seemingly very thematic ones like Takenoko could easily be rethemed (example: your panda is a police officer looking for clues left out by the gardener/mob boss; once you get a set of clues you can exchange these for points. different areas of the board correspond to different types of crimes which consequently will leave different clues - I will call it Yakuza no ko).

Congratulations! The good answer is Libertalia, a game from Paolo Mori published by Asmodée / Marabunta.

well yeah but they are usualy easy to develop and have easy (altough most of the time hard to master) rules, frankly i'm not happy that with BGA 1 game per month schedule,a random abstract game delays the release of a more interessing and complicated game like agricola

I am really happy to hear that Libertalia will be available to play here on BGA. I wish to thank to the developers for bringing me the opportunity to play one of my favorite games more often than I already do.
