Need an additional "Expel player" option

Hi,

I really like playing Pandemic, especially those whom I have marked as "friends." I would like to invite specific friends, but if they don't respond in a reasonable amount of time I open the game up to others. I just found out that if I invite a player then expel them they are not allowed in the game even if they show up a few seconds later. I would like to be able to stop saving them a spot, rather than expel them with prejudice (and not let them get into the game just like anyone else). I tried to join another Pandemic game with a friend and got a message saying that the administrator did not want me in the game. I now assume that they invited me and then expelled me after I didn't show up right away. I thought at the time they had given me a red thumbs down for some reason. This is broken.

If u want a 4 player game, u can invite 4 people, and when 3 people join, then u start the game.
U dont need to kick players out in this case, but u have to check the table sometimes.

This is indeed an annoying issue that I also had a few times. I suggest you to file a bug report. I will certainly upvote it.

This is indeed an issue. Two types of expel.
#1: Sorry, but I don't want to play with this player.
#2: This player is no longer expected, but may still join.

You wouldn't even need 2 different options for that. It's enough to treat a player that never joined in a different way than when expelled after joining. So no need to give 2 buttons for the host (which might complicate the interface).

If a player is already at the table we need 1 button that says "expel" and bans the player from rejoining.
If a player has a reserved spot (from rematch or because host put his name in), we need 1 button that says "free this spot" and does not ban from rejoining.

Either case, just 1 button, no complicated interface. Is there a suggestion-request that we can vote up somewhere? Please post link - hard to find anything by searching there...

Workaround: Start the game, then cancel. they are expelled, but not blocked.
