New comments notification

I added a comment to a post once and now I keep getting LOTS OF ANNOYING notifications of new comments on it. How do I turn that off for God's sake?

go to the thread and below it there will be a "wrench" icon next to Post Reply, where one option is a checkbox for Subscribe; uncheck that and you will no longer get notifications (I think unless someone quotes you)

in the future when posting you can uncheck Notify me when a reply is posted if you think you won't need to follow the thread

Nice ideas, you should put that as suggestions. Unfortunately, none of the things you suggested is available so far.

It is there in the forum, okay. But not for comments to posts on the bga page. Which is what najjah talked about and which indeed is what causes all those terrible notifications.

I ended up deleting my comment. It seems to work.
