I completely disagree with you, this is the first thing I spot when I loaded the page without having reading your full answer.

My problem with this: when you click many times, let's say... to season 3 of a game, you have to wait a few seconds after each click on the arrows, for the text to change (i mean the link itself and the lists change, but the text near the arrow stays a few seconds named after the previous season from which you clicked the arrow).

Ex.: you are on the season 4 and click the forward arrow to go to season 3; the lists change from season 4 (season 3 lists now), but the "season 4" text stays a few more seconds, until changing to "season 3".

This can be a bit confusing for the ones who click too fast, unaware of this issue.

Anyone else having this issue?

I completely disagree with you, this is the first thing I spot when I loaded the page without having reading your full answer.

I guess this shows how hard UI design is.

To explain my point: I only use BGA with 15" sreen or larger screens, maybe the page looks different on mobile devices. When I load the page, I will usually scroll down immediately to get to the interesting stuff. I would not expect the link to older seasons at the very top of the page. For me it's not logical that the link is embedded in the banner showing general info about the current season rather than being its own entity, it also has the smallest text size within the banner. It is even greyed a little bit making it more background-ish and it doesn't change color or gets highlighted when you hover over it (like the other link on the page "+ to the season rules" or the general BGA top-right menu).

But yeah, since we all have different screen sizes and internet habits, we all have different expectations how things should be looking and arranged.
