FAQ: new achievements & XP system

How Come I did not receive any XP for Battle of LITS last season?
I didnt receive it for becoming elite, nor for being no 10 at the end of the season.

Just a question that has no doubt been answered before. I played 8 games of chess against the same opponent, and won them all. But my 'XP' section reads:

8 Games • 0 Victories • 50% wins

when I would have expected:

8 Games • 8 Victories • 100% wins


Can anyone please explain this?

What is the thing that decides how much XP is given by the top spots in a season of arena?
The number of players that reach elite? The total number of players in the season?

Is there somewhere we can see the criteria and the corresponding rewards in XP?

Does a 1200XP elite means automatically 60k/30/20/12/6/3 for this game even if there is not even 20 elite?

it is based on number of players in the arena season 1000/500/200/50 are minimum numbers for 60/30/20/12k respectively. 6k is the minimum for arena (there is no 3k). Also the 500/200/50 are minimum numbers for awarding top 20, top 10, and top 5 trophies (top 3 are always awarded).

The value for reaching Elite uses those same thresholds but is based on number of players in the previous season, so getting 1200 for reaching Elite doesn't necessarily mean the winner will get 60k xp (but it is a good indicator )...you can see total number of players on the main arena related page for each game.

Actually the rewards are depending on the previous season number of player, it has been the case for me in several games. Seems not fair but I made extra points so I won't complain. I don't know if it is a bug or if that's the rule.
Same goes for new games.
Example : Speed limit 99.
312 players, only 6/3/2k rewarded because 1rst season in arena. I'm pretty sure the rewards will be 20/10/6.67 this season whatever even if 10 or 1500 players.

Then it is quite random. Examples :
No thanks, 600ish players season 6 (above 1000 previous one) awarded 60/30/20/12/6/3. Same goes for For Sale and Takenoko, that failed to reach 1000 players for season 6, awarded 60/30/20 etc because elite gave 1200points.
But for this season league points are divided by 2 which is logical.

The games you played were in Training mode. The "Games" number includes all games, but Training mode games do not count towards the "Victories".

I don't like this either, but workarounds exist:

If you check the Game Panel page for a particular game (e.g. https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=chess) then there is a "My Achievements" section where the number of Training mode games played is shown separately (so for you, it will say "0 Games (+8)"). Finally, if you want to see your total victories including Training mode games, go to your Game Stats page (https://boardgamearena.com/gamestats?player=89180436) and filter on the game you're interested in. The number of Victories shown at the top will include Training mode victories.

Will there be achievements actually based on the games? Like winning King of Tokyo without hurting anyone or defeating all other monsters with a single blow. Dungeon Roll even have some sort of achievements on the game manual. If there is already something like that I didn't see it yet.
