Penalty for the server maintenance?

Hey. I've been playing Seasons at this table: https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=208763877

The connection was unstable and there was an announcement that there is server maintenance. At some point connection was lost and I couldnt connect back as the site was totally unreachable.

When I finally connected back I saw that my opponent expelled me and Ive lost karma and, what is more important, ELO.

Is it possible to cancel those ELO and karma penalties?

They will be cancelled, it was announced on their social media.

Karma loss will (probably) be restored; ELO... According to these, no.

There is a thing called Ripple Effect or something: the sums of ELOs won in a finished game table (by the players on that table) = the sums of ELOs lost in that game.

Supposing that at least 1 of the players on that game table played at least 1 more Seasons game after that... The ELO changed too much and it would be too difficult to change all back to the game you were expelled from, because it would include too many people; your opponent played 1 more game of Seasons after that, you played 1 more, as well (with 2 different people); so there you go, you can't have those 27 Seasons ELO points back, unfortunately.

This is what I have been told when I lost 33 points in a game during a system crash or something.
And I wasn't even expelled; the crash simply started during my turn; other people quit the game, but I got inflicted as if i quit it.

Indeed there have been an incident yesterday, but as you can see on our "server status" page this was hours before your game which have not been impacted.
