Query about the operation of the premium account

I have a premium subscription for a year. Until July 14, 2022, I would like to use my gift points (I have over 100), will my premium account be extended until August 14, 2022?
Can I use it only after canceling the subscription, i.e. after July 14?

you can use them now and it will extend it for 1 month.
