The game Deus is now in Beta status and therefore available for everyone to play.
Published by Pearl Games, the outfit behind several other modern classic games such as Troyes, and designed by Sébastien Dujardin (one of the 3 co-designers of Troyes), Deus is a medium-weight card-driven game where you compete with other players on a shared map to secure the best spots to build, conquer barbarian villages, and build a VP-generating engine - all while worshipping the Gods in order to gain favours from them.
It's pretty straightforward to learn and only an hour or so to play in real time, so please give it a try!
