This is a great explanation, and one I wanted to find when I started playing turn based games a few months ago. I learned how it works as I went, but your post makes it so much clearer. For normal turn based you divide 24 by the number of moves per day (4 moves per day: 24/4 = 6, so +6 hours after every move). To a maximum of 24h or 3 times the added time, whichever is higher. So for 4 moves per day the maximum should be 18 (+6h x 3 = 18h) but since 18 is lower than 24 the maximum time bank is 24h.
For fast turn based games instead of dividing 24 by the number of moves, you divide 12 by the number of moves and the maximum time bank is 12h.
Fast turn based games have a 12h playing window. Outside this window the clock does not run down.
