I want to add, that I was in a winning position in the game and therefore had no reason to let the time run out.
Also I often had the problem, that there is no contact with the server, although I' m online.

temporarily disabling the newsfeed feature during certain peak hours
what exactly are these "certain peak hours"? at what times of the day can we expect newsfeed to work properly, and at what times will it be down?

Why am I constantly losing connection to server. Almost after every game. Manqy times in middle of game. Have to close app and open again. This has been going on a lot longer than this test. Many sentax errors during games. Is any of this getting fixed with this test. Should any of us risk playing and our reputation? Would like an answer. Seems only meeple has answers.

I don't know what gives you that impression. The only "answer" I gave is that penalties had been nullified. This wasn't due to some kind of insider information. All I had to do is look at the profile of the person who claimed they'd gotten a penalty and see that there was no penalty from during the time of the test and server outage.

To meeple guy. It was meant more as a compliment.. you seem to be the only person to really try and help on this forum. Now I see newsfeed again. Wish I had not. No way things got fixed that fast. I am pretty sure most players would not mind it being down for a week if it made it to where we can play without banners for errors every few turns or being kicked off server during game and after the game is over. Makes for difficult playing

The work in progress has enabled us to gradually reactivate the newsfeeds on the site's home page and from your profile.
It might continue to be unavailable at heavy peak times (depending on the number of active players).
Latest notifications are still visible from the side bar, whne you click on your avatar.
We're continuing to monitor and improve the situation to ensure that you can play with as little disruption as possible.

I found that I couldn't get email notifications from turn-based games. Is it also about maintenance? Or is it more like a bug for my email address?

The newsfeed is still disabled for me after two days. Is this normal?

Only for two hours last evening (CET timezone) was the newsfeed disabled.
It should go live early next week because we need a full week to finish the performance analysis. Of course, we do our best to keep it active.
Unfortunately, as a side effect, we discovered that some players were incorrectly staying connected from our perspective and were not receiving the email notification for turn-based games. This was fixed a few hours ago.
