Yes because they were at a minimum a year and a half old. That's way too long to revive a dead thread. Also you didn't answer the other one on the "front page" so there was no need to respond to that one.

Yes because they were at a minimum a year and a half old. That's way too long to revive a dead thread. Also you didn't answer the other one on the "front page" so there was no need to respond to that one.
Why is it a problem? The only reason I can see why you may not like pursuing an old thread is because you may worry other people may not like pursuing an old thread (presumably for the same reason you don't like it). That's circular logic.

Threads don't have an expiration date. One way they get updated is by bumping them to continue the conversation.
And why do you have "front page" in scare quotes? It literally was, and still is, on the front page, i.e., the
first page of this sub-forum. I responded to the other thread in the same way: by pointing out where the same subject matter had already been discussed.
