hi, arena is fine. What is strange to me... but may be a bad luck, I played couple of games and I perhaps did not start in Builders But maybe there is a rule that someone initiating the game will not start

Just played a 4 player game and placed 2nd, and my arena rank went down!?
How does that make sense?

I hope this is a bug and not the intended result - why even let higher league players play against lower league players if there is no possible reward for them?

From the FAQ (https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewto ... =3&t=15059), it seems there is nothing to gain when beating opponents 3 leagues or more lower than you. I don't quite like this either- they should make it so you can gain at least 1 point. Or maybe adjust your arena settings to "I never want to play with " far from my level so you get matched with better players.

It just happened to me in a 7 wonder match, I won: 0 points, 2nd place: -3 points...

also i don't think 7 wonders is a good 3-players game, 4 players open to more strategies, ihmo in 3 players guilds car and war cards are too unbalanced and strong, due to the fact taht any player can efficiently build those. in 4 players you could prevent others form building certain cards or making them useless on purpose

Arena needs a serious revamp in that I should be able to see the number of players waiting for a game. Without that info, I wouldn't know if someone is waiting to play a game or not. Without that info, its just wait and wait some more for a player to show up sometime

when you start waiting for a game it will tell you how many more players you are waiting for. So if you are joining a 4 player game and it gives you waiting for 1 more player then you know you are close to being able to start a game.

If you have changed your settings to small icons, it may not show that information.

I hope this will get fixed too.

Or fix it so that you can only get entered into tables where you have the potential to advance up the league track. I don't want to be entered into tables where I have no hope of advancing. It's fine once you're past the leagues and hit the ELO stage though.

Could someone explain my why when I play in arena mode I play with ppl from better leagues? I think when I am in bronze league I should play with ppl from bronze leage, not from diamond or gold... Why is that?
