Re: Santorini in Alpha now

Three new gods joined the Pantheon : Ares, Hypnus and Morpheus can now be played on the alpha !
I haven't played tons of other games on BGA, but you're right that I haven't noticed other games with an undo feature. The implementation of Circle of Life on here uses a "confirm" button, though. Is that any different/better? It just sucks when a great game gets messed up by a misclick.
I understand that point, but in the case of Santorini, coordinates makes it SO much easier to talk about the game with your opponent. For example, maybe after the game you want to say "After you moved up to level 2 on b3, I think I should have moved my worker on c3 to d4 instead of c4." In real life you don't need coordinates because you can just point to the board, but on the internet it's really cumbersome to express that thought without coordinates. "You know my worker that was next to your worker on level 2 at that point right after you'd moved up and built another level 2? Yeah, I think I should have moved that worker diagonally up and to the right instead of just straight up. Oh, you had the board rotated differently than I did? Then I guess it would be diagonally left and down instead of just straight down? Yeah I think I should have done that instead." And that's just talking about a single move! If you want to discuss alternative sequences of moves it's a real slog.
I have reproduce it and made a report with image.Tisaac wrote: ↑25 May 2020, 16:53Wouah, this is strange indeed ! Just to narrow things : was it during the worker placement or at another time ? Was it an additional 3rd worker of one color (so 5 workers displayed) or one of the opponent worker changed color during play (3 out of 4 workers with same color) ?ollyfish2002 wrote: ↑25 May 2020, 11:55 Great implementation !
I have a problem in some games (not all) so I cannot yet reproduce it : I can see sometimes 3 workers of the same colors. It disappears on refresh.
I've just added a game preference that will you allow to show/hide height markers and coords markers on demand (just click on top-right menu -> preferences).95chins wrote: ↑29 May 2020, 00:02I understand that point, but in the case of Santorini, coordinates makes it SO much easier to talk about the game with your opponent.
