I just thought of this does the Hospital and Oasis terrain also work the same as the M&M card online by adding Extra figures?

A figure has to have been destroyed before it can be restored and therefore should still count in the total of figures destroyed.

The count of figures destroyed should never go down.
If figures are destroyed they are counted even if they are subsequently restored/healed.
The figures or vehicles brought back by the M&M card are not replacements but the same figures brought back from a still surviving unit not a destroyed unit
It does not matter where the restored figures come from.
They have been destroyed before they could be restored and should count in the num ber of figures destroyed.

The previous post from Diamont says it clearly

You can read the command card name and its text. This information is just as important as the rule.

Doctors treated the wounded men and mechanics repaired the damaged equipment.
This implies that the losses are not permanent, as long as the wounded men are treated and the damaged equipment repaired : they are not reinforcements.

The writing on the card says it all to me..

As I mentioned before, the French tournament rules that I consulted plan to count the remaining figurines on the board.
So, if an infantry unit lost 2 figures, then recovered 2 figures with Medics & Mechanics, you get the same count with an unit which has suffered no loss.
I like this - simply because it makes the M&M card slightly stronger (since you can actually turn a losing situation around with it now) and that's honestly not a bad thing, IMO. It's both a risky and an often pretty weak card in Memoir44

In Breakthrough games it could make a huge difference as the M&M card can heal/repair multiple units with one card and I think there are 2 in the deck

Agreed - it's definitely NOT a weak card in Breakthrough.

Counting what's left on the board creates it's own problems. You've got to know what you started with. You've got to start with the same number of figures on both games (Airdrop!) What about exiting units to gain medals?

We're playing on BGA which tracks figures killed. Let's keep it that way.

Totally agree. That is how I read the situation as well.

I ran across a Scenario that Allowed French Resistance units to Gain (using M&M) extra units. Much to my Surprise.
French resistance units come into the game with three figures - Play M&M - unit now has Four figures...unless I Read it wrong.
I'd be thrilled to know that M&M had the ability to change the outcome of a tied-up match...Medic/mechanic Wins the battle!

I agree; The writing on the card says it all.

wasn't a Bug. I found it in the Scenario description. Don't even know if I played the Scenario.
