You can't pilfer the player with less than 5 appeal

I tried to pilfer 2 two people yesterday. One persona had 2 conservation when I was at 0 and the other person had 1 more appeal than me. It only pilfered the person that had more appeal and ignored the person with conservation. From the wording I thought it would hit both. I assumed it was a bug and reported to be met with a lovely "read the FAQ"... Which doesn't help me at all understand if I'm misunderstanding the card (which seems to be written pretty straightforward). I've found nothing on the BGA FAQ and nothing to really answer the question in the forum.

Love when my intent is to help fix something that seems wrong and I'm met with vague passive aggression. Why can't they just be clear and say why there isn't a bug or if there is a bug?

What part of "have you read the FAQ ?" is passive agressive ?
The FAQ contains a list of frequent misunderstanding or stuff that people forgot, which is why I asked you to first check over there to avoid repeating the same thing over and over : https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=86536

And I can see that the Quarantine Lab was indeed in play during your game, so are you sure it's not the source of your misunderstanding ?

I had that in play on me near the end of the game. In future turns I was also able to hit them with Venom, and Constrict.

you were at 2, they were at 3. Players are immune to attacks before 5 appeal.

I just added this one to the FAQ because that's indeed something that some players oversee, despite the fact that the "5 appeal slot" is different from other slots to show this restriction.

Just encountered this today and found out that pilfering can only be done on players with >=5 appeal.
Would it be possible to update the card/ability description to state this restriction?

It's stated in the rules, glossary, and FAQ. Does it really need to be added to the card, too?
