New Map Switzerland

Another problem I have encountered today is tons of people joining and then leaving the game because I assume they are expecting a USA game, not a Swiss game. It doesn't help that when you are joining and clicking ok to start it shows the box cover of the USA map, not the Swiss box cover.

To have more force to request BGA changes for TTR Switzerland.

How do I set it to avoid playing this new game. It makes no sense to me. I tried to play and the rul3 aren’t the same.
I’d rather no play it, but I can’t know which game is loading until it loads. Is there a way to avoid. Hot that I can’t avoid it

It wasn't an easy choice.
The risk is splitting the community if we have too much different projects for Ticket to Ride. The maps are not really expansion but not standalone too, so it's an in-between that is hard to classify.

Splitting the community is not really a problem considering the numbers of players in the "elite league". Most Ticket to Ride players play all the maps.

But like some stated, we are losing the value of the stats, already diluted between 2players and multiplayer (so they have no meaningful purpose already). Now we are mixing up everything in arena, in the ELO. The original TTR had rankings for all modes and maps. All the maps can be considered standalone : they are only expansions because of a commercial decision : not include the trains in each of them.

Well, why is the Europe Edition a separate game? From a developer's perspective it does make sense to have it in the same game. I guess a lot of the code is just copy&pasted, and also translation mostly identical.

I will prefer that TTR Switzerland be out of TTR USA like it should be made first.

Hi ! Maybe I missed something about the rules, but I don't understand why I'm losing even though I'm the player with most points...
It occured 3 times. At first I thought it was because the opponent had more destinations completed but it happened again while I had the longuest route AND the most completed destination tickets.
Of course, it occured against players with ELO under 200 so I lost lots of ELO points

Is it a bug or something I misunderstand with the rules ?

If you go in your History, you should verify you have win and the game result shows you are first.
If it is not the case, give us the table number of this game !

I think Switzerland map should be part of Europe because it is more similar to Europe map than USA map. So many people overlook "Switzerland" map when start the game. Can make more visual make sure people not misunderstand when joins and thought it was USA map.
