Yeah. If it's hidden it should be documented....somewhere. But BGA has the same attitude toward documenting features and functionalities that many software developers have toward commenting their code. That's attitude is aversion, in case it wasn't clear.
Documentation is not in any way a solution to this kind of user-hostile UI design. Who's going to look for documentation on how to interact with a web page? One or two people may, but not the vast majority.

Things need to be laid out in a clear way that makes it easy to see what you need to see, and all of the important features should just be clearly there and visible. Anything that's a clickable link or button should very clearly look like a clickable link or button and be grouped with similar items, and nothing should be hidden behind a link or button unless it's obvious to almost anyone who might be looking for it what they should click to find it.

Well... if you want to remove someone from a table, I'd consider it pretty obvious to click on their name or avatar and see what happens.

That is a very bad assumption, and especially more so when the avatars do not look like clickable elements in the first place.
