“Gg” works for me. It’s fast and says exactly what I want to express. I don’t even bother capitalizing the second “g.” With 50-100 simultaneous turn based tables on the go at any time … that’s as much effort as I can muster since my other tables are waiting.

If you ever played a sport you probably wouldnt mind it
I've never said "gg" to anyone after playing pickleball or poker, both of which I play several times a week.

I think it’s good manners and sportsmanship to
Say good game- winning or losing

Well, you can always try with BG instead if that is what you meant.

I guess you guys do actually not understand what I mean.
I don't like "gg" (which I consider to be robotic vomit), but I'm very much for "Good Game" or whatever else someone prefers.
I usually post "Thanks for a good game!" when I win, or not win and nevertheless liked the game.

Do you take offense to different accents when speaking in person?

Leaving without saying anything (when winning or losing) shows a lack of respect for your opponent far worse, in my opinion. A quick "gg" is pretty much the equivalent of a quick polite handshake after a game irl

I hate when people put it in the chat before the game is actually over.
Though I had a great experience once where another player congratulated who they thought would be the winner and the 'winner' thanked them. I pointed out how silly it is to do that before the game is over. They both LOLd me.
Well a few moves later the guy didn't win. I was sure to LOL back at them.
