An even simpler solution, concede if you want to. You have played out the game as agreed. You do not have to put this on the other player. If you want a discussion, feel free to start one, but don't feel as though you are forced to either.
Why be kind when you can be selfish? Geez.
It does seem rather selfish to force players to ask for permission to concede, which is one of the reasons for my position. I do not require that they waste my time asking, nor do I feel the need to leash them to a game they no longer want to make more moves in. If they want to ask first, they can ask. If they want to resign, they can resign. I am not so selfish that I would force them to follow my whims.
It is selfish to take a moment to ask for consent and have empathy for others? What bizarro opposite world are you living in?

I don't expect you to change your view as you are incapable of putting yourself in the shoes of others.

It is possible for people to exist that both do not have the same opinion as you do and can have empathy for other people at the same time. I understand it is possible that you disagree with me on this, and that you may believe it is impossible for people to disagree with you and still have empathy. I can't make you believe something just because I do. Though just so you are aware, I doubt many would appreciate you accusing them of a lack of empathy for disagreeing with you. Even if you accuse them of lacking empathy and you believe it yourself, that will not cause them to hold the same belief, as they are not the same person as you are.

I think you're just answering different questions:

If you want to concede, just do it.
If you are concerned about how the other player will take your concession, just ask.
