Again, a problem with an opportunistic player...
https://boardgamearena.com/9/rallymangt?table=144546630
JeppyPepus crossed the line first.
Biking Viking, second.

But after that, Japilion kicked out Ironmatt71 and flolem.
Result: everybody first except... Ironmatt71 (the first kicked out).

Selection for next turn (alea perhaps ?) :
  • JeppyPepus, OK.
  • Biking Viking ? No, he is eliminated !
  • flolem (no chance to finish in the 3 first, and kicked out: very lucky !!!).
  • Japilion: the opportunistic kicker...
In this case :
  • JeppyPepus and Biking Viking should have their respective places, the game was finished for them.
  • If game is interrupted, all player with negative clock should be last, not only one of them.

Do you still need testers? I think Martian Dice would work well.

Hi, we are testing the bracket elimination tournament in a multigame competition with a quite fixed user group. We are setting tournaments with a configuration of Min. 4 players, Max. 4 players and 2 players passing each round so that we always have a 4 player final round.

We found out that in all the games we are having the same players being paired together in the first round, and we guess that it could be because instead of having a random pairing algorithm the groups are being made by user id order or other criteria that is always a fixed value for each player.

For a multi game competition or tournaments played by a fixed group of users it would be much more fun with a random pairing system.

Is there a way to shrink the bracket to 2^N > numberofparticipants at start > 2^(N-1) at the start of the tournament? This would result in less scrolling when investigating the bracket.

Another useful thing would be to show the own username in red colour in the bracket. This would make it much easiet to find yourself in the bracket.

@Draasil: I like the new bracket layout. Great update! :D

I found the new option on the tournament filter page to select minimum and maximum number of players per game.

Can we have an option to filter for minimum and maxmimum time per player per game, too?

Hi, I would like top test this new feature for our Voodoo Backgammon ladder 3rd Division.

Any chance to be able to set up matches Best of 3/5/7/9/11 and Best of 3/5of 3/5/7/9/11, preference with cube and crawford, for our Backgammon tourneys?
