Your use of % tells us how to judge your statement

I didn't know if your comment was serious or satire, but looking at your 1 other comment on the forum... You actually believe premium players are favored in their rolls and games are rigged? And probably that BGA is run by lizard people?

As a developer, I can tell you this simply isn't the case. The code may look something like this:

Code: Select all

      $val = bga_rand(1,6);
      if ($val == 5)
        $val = DICE_FOOD; // there are two food faces
      if ($val == 6)
        $val = DICE_WATER; // there are two water faces
The call to bga_rand() generates a random number. It doesn't know whose turn it is and, even if it did, it doesn't know what rolls are good. The number it returns is applied however the developer chooses to. The randomized doesn't know what we're about to use it for.

It's a great conspiracy theory, though. Sorry to ruin it. Humans are great at finding patterns, but sometimes we find them where they don't exist.

Seems like it would be in BGA's interest to NOT favor premium members....if you're not a premium member and keep getting beat, you may get discouraged and not pay to join.

if anything, they should give free members an edge to "get em hooked"...like a drug dealer giving you your first hit for free.

mmmm. sweet sweet games.
