The "old lobby" is a lobby that has the address boardgamearena.com/lobby

The "new lobby" is no lobby at all. It's just each individual game's page, from which you can create or queue for tables, but it doesn't have the name "lobby" anywhere and it's not what a lobby is supposed to mean (a kind of meeting zone).

All true, but this page https://boardgamearena.com/gamelist?menu=favorite has many attributes of the /lobby page (including showing multiple games each with a button to let you join a queue for it), and it is understandable that Sjarmtrollet thought that was what we were talking about as the "new lobby."

Ah, that's new to me. Last time I checked game list pages they didn't have any option to create/join tables (except that the pop-up that appears on hover had the play button, I believe). Still no reason for me to stop using the "old" (and only) lobby :D

Well, I still use the "old" one too, but I pledged earlier in the thread to stop griping about the new one once it was shown that you can queue for multiple games from the same page. Although now there are two "new" ones to distinguish between: the new single-game pages and the multi-game list page.

I think so too, the gaming system is easy to use and interact with, very friendly to new players like me

To me, the most annoying thing is not being able to do anything else once I click on PlayNow. Waiting for a playmate - exemple, for Lost Seas - is sometimes veeery long, and it would be nice to be able to come on the forum while waiting. I dont understand why it cant be possible...

....open a new tab? Or start the game from the game page.

No as soon as I click "Play Now" while the system searches for playmates I have to stay on that page or the research stop. I can not even look at my profile page!! (maybe because Im not premium??)

This sounds like the new game starting system. It did not use to have it. While a new game is starting, it forces all tabs to open at that page.
