Just needed to vent as I was on my last move on Ark Nova. It was close for first between me and another player. I went 20 seconds overtime on the last move and the guy who was coming last booted me and then claimed their first win. Worst act of sportsmanship I have seen on BGA. The guy had a 60% rating

Yes, that is lame on his part.

But, wouldn't you do something, make a move, before your clock expired?


I've never played Ark Nova so I don't know how feasible that is.

I play real time games in games I know I'll never clock out, and in games that I know might take 6-600 minutes to find the right move, I play turn based.

I was literally hitting the confirm button when it happened. I had a combo move that if i played it right might have got me the win. Unfortunately I had forgot to hit confirm a couple of turns before and so I was already under the pump. It happens to all of us on occassion and i apologised in the chat box as soon as i realised. Anyway just needed to vent. He has a red thumb.

I agree with you. Weak move by your opponent.

I am in a turn-based game and my opponent is 8 hours in the negative.

I'll wait. He or she probably has something going on in real life. I am not going to take a cheap win like that.
