3 choices:
* Top-right menu > quit game. You'll quit that game, receive a penalty. Every other player in the game will be classed as the winner. You'll be eliminated from the tournament as it's an elimination-tournament not a swiss-system.
* Tournament main page > quit tournament. You'll get a reputation penalty and won't be put in a game in the next round. You'll still be in that particular game table though.
* Wait for the game to expire. Maximum game length for that tournament is 1 month. That game has been ongoing for 23 days. Players will be given a 1st/2nd/3rd/etc position based on how much time they have remaining on the clock. You will proceed to the next round of the tournament and a new game will start.
I was going to wait but... "Table abandoned
The game was abandoned automatically because the players did not manage to finish it before the next round of the Tournament. The player with the most remaining thinking time wins the game." That works also.
That wasn't a 4th option. That's exactly what mrdoctor described as their third choice.

We need more context. Are you the tournament host and you want to cancel the entire tournament? If so, the answer is no after it has started.

Or are you just a player who entered the tournament? In that case you can withdraw from the tournament using this button at the very bottom of the main page for that tournament. I'm not 100% sure about the details because I've never withdrawn from a tournament. For example, I don't know if it automatically removes you from the game(s) you are actively playing, or lets you finish those but opt out of future rounds (e.g., in a Swiss tournament). There is a karma penalty for quitting a tournament game, but it is smaller than quitting a non-tournament game (-4 karma I think).

You don't understand why it's not possible to let people sign up for a game they presumably enjoy in a format they presumably enjoy, let them start playing, and then just cancel it on a whim while they're in the middle of enjoying a game?

Why on earth should the tournament host be able to choose to end a tournament that's already started and people willingly signed up to, just because they feel like it?

This one for example is made as a giveaway from the company itself. Winner wins an all in pledge. And it has specific rules and conditions. Maybe others are similar?

Hey Admins, are you cool with this? Maybe I should have asked first? Not sure, just don't want to get in trouble.

From my announcement on my tournament: (https://boardgamearena.com/tournament?id=572935)

Pandamonium at the Pavilion - Swissmas Series • Pandamonium at the Pavilion - Rescue Station Swiss:
Dear volunteers, thank you for registering for the rescue station swiss. I'd like to share with you the tournament agenda.

Target goals for the experiment from our volunteers:

- Carefully release over 100 Siberian Tigers back into the wild
- Construct over 90 Large Bird Aviaries
- Sponsor over 400 non-standard conservation projects
- Sustain less than 15 workplace injuries involving "snapping" turtles
- Fund over 1000 science icon's worth of exemplary assistance.

Additionally, for any game that crosses in under 28 turns or less, I will personally donate a dollar to the WWF. Will donate at the end of the event. Please message me with the game ID. (You can find me at RumZ512 on BGA. Thank you.)

Additionally, is there API I can leverage to pull this potential occurrence? TYVM.

Hello,

Could you be so kind to clarify on how xp tournaments work?
I created some of the private tournaments with 1 xp winning but some have got 262 xp f.e.

What is the reason? The number of the participants is the same (for about).
I limit it to the exact number of players.
How to create the private tournaments with more xp? What are the tips?
