"Beginner" in a game is a player who never got one victory. When you got your first victory you will pass to a rank based in your ELO:
- 1599 or above: Average Level
- 1600-1799: Good Player
- 1800-1999: Expert
- 2000 or more: Master
I was just thinking about posting about this "beginner" thing. I don't think this is appropriate because someone could have played several games, be an average player, but still have that "beginner" tag just because they haven't won yet.
It doesn't seem right to be a "beginner" if you're not really a beginner, and as texascpa said, you then can't get into "average and above," even if you're 1599. If it's a game that can take a lot of people and you're good at coming in 2nd, but just don't win, why should you continued to be plagued with being a "beginner."
