Northwest Passage arrival marker suggestion

Post by CB Droege »

It may not be an issue in real-time play, but in Turn-based play (especially with multiple games going), I sometimes have trouble remembering who has reached the goal, and who hasn't, and what points are still left to be claimed there. Currently, the only way to know (if you don't remember) is to read back into the game-log and search for notes about people arriving.

My suggestion is that some visual indicator be added, either to the board or to the player cards, to show who has reached the Northwest Passage already. For now, I've begun recording it in my private notes, but a sign in the game itself would be sweeter. :)

I find it hard to remember also... that's why I use my "personal notes" feature to write things down

Yes, I also write down in my personal notes who has arrived at North West Passage,
When I have multiple turn-based NWPgames running I even find it hard to remember in which one I myself have already reached North West Passage.
So I learned taking notes the hard way because it happened that I was trying to reach NWpassage while I had already been there :D
So, good suggestion.

+1

It also happened to me several times:
- to go twice to the NWP
- to start my travel back to Greenland while I am on a tile next to the NWP because I think I have already reached it while it is not the case

I don't write notes but now I often read the log to check whether someone has been there or not.
